Proposed Transponder options for Waterford Raceway
Option One
Rent Transponder From Waterford Raceway
- Waterford Raceway will rent transponders to its drivers for at least €15 a day to be able to save money to invest in personal transponders for the 2013 season.
- The €15 or more you pay each day will go towards buying your transponder for next year.
Option Two
Rent Transponder Directly From MYLAPS.
MYLAPS also offer an alternative to their classic transponder for the drivers with budget constraints or new drivers.
- The Car Flex transponder will cost €130 incl VAT for the first year and €80 incl VAT for every consecutive year.
- This gives our members the opportunity to rent a transponder with a subscription for 1, 2 or 5 years.
- The advantage of the FLEX transponder is that is includes warranty and insurance.

Option Three
Buy Your Own.
- Members of the club can also choose to purchase their own personal TranX260 Direct power Car Transponder @ any time, or now at a special price if the club orders 10 or more units at time of ordering the timing system. Details from Jim @ 086 8396360
Option Four
If you are not interested in either buying or renting a transponder at this point in time, you can continue to be recorded as you have been in the past, at least for the next few years.
